Entanglements Riesling

Today we cut our Riesling in the vineyard – you can see how different the vines are when they are cut in winter.

The Riesling, for example, forms strong entanglements on the wires/nets and holds on so tightly that you first have to cut everything loose and then continue with the winter cut. Extremely important, because simply tearing them out may damage the very vine(s) with which you want to set the basis for the next vintage. Luckily we continue with Grüner Veltliner 😊
