We are already looking forward to our new PIWI variety, the first vintage of which we will fill for you in spring – so be curious…
Our summary so far: exotic and burgundy notes – but it’s still too early… We’ll keep you posted.

Here are a few facts in advance:
Bianca is a white wine variety that was bred in 1963 at the Experimental Station for Viticulture and Enology in Eger, Hungary. Bianca, as a neutral grape variety, produces just such a wine; the bouquet is similar to that of Chasselas, the body is full and harmonious only when ripe. With reductive expansion, the wines are similar to Sauvignon. In some cases, however, Bianca shows a somewhat exotic note in the aroma The early maturing and high-yielding variety has good resistance to powdery mildew, downy mildew and botrytis. It sprouts a little later and therefore has a good ability to regenerate after late frosts. Winter frost resistance is also high. A disadvantage is their sensitivity to drought, the vigorous growth and unfavorable flowering weather often cause the flowers to trickle.
