🌿 Two weeks full of dedication, responsibility, and unforgettable experiences! 🍷
For the past two weeks, we were delighted to welcome Louis and Tim from the Palatinate region to our winery. What made this internship so special was that they weren’t just involved in day-to-day operations; they organized their entire internship independently – from arrival and departure to planning their daily routine, including breakfast, laundry, and everything else. And yet, they were always there every morning, punctual and motivated. 💪 Together, we accomplished a great deal:
🍇 Working in the vineyard, including weeding, tying up vines, leaf removal, and mowing
🍾 Labeling, packaging, and preparing for shipping
🚜 Gaining insights into organic farming, cellar management, and marketing
🍷 Assisting with tastings and events
🏡 Visiting fellow winemakers and the Winzer Krems winery
Of course, we also had plenty of fun alongside the work. Together we visited a few wine taverns, took a tuk-tuk ride, enjoyed the pool, and had many interesting conversations.
Thank you so much, Louis and Tim, for your dedication, your reliability, and the great atmosphere you brought. We were delighted to share a glimpse of our daily life as winemakers with you. We wish you all the best for the future and look forward to seeing you again in Wagram! 🍇☀️
