A recent study by science.ORF shows that vineyards managed using near-natural methods are once again providing habitat for rare bird species such as the hoopoe, jackdaw, and little owl. Fewer insecticides, more cover crops, and living soils ensure that insects return—and with them, the birds. đŸŒ±
For us here in the Wagram, this is wonderful confirmation: Sustainable viticulture means not only distinctive wines, but also responsibility for our cultural landscape and its inhabitants.
