


Grape blossom – quiet magic in the vineyard
It’s small, inconspicuous – spectacular, unspectacular, and yet a quiet miracle every year: the grape blossom.
What many people don’t know: The vine doesn’t necessarily need bees or bumblebees. Grapevines are bisexual and can pollinate themselves. A gentle breeze is often enough for the male pollen to find its way to the female ovaries. And according to the farmer’s calendar, the harvest begins 100 days after flowering.
So the countdown to the new vintage has begun…
