We did it – the 2025 harvest is in the cellar!
Last Sunday, after five weeks, we successfully completed the harvest of our Alte Rebe – our single-vineyard wine from the Scheibe vineyard. Another challenge we couldn’t have accomplished without our hardworking helpers, friends, and customers from near and far. A heartfelt thank you again for that!
The start of the harvest couldn’t have been better: sunny days, cool nights, perfect for the wine, and the PIWI varieties were quickly in the cellar. It was another harvest full of surprises – sun, rain, heat, frost… the whole package.
Despite all the freak weather, the grapes were healthy, and the results are impressive: a lighter, fruit-forward vintage with a fine acid balance – simply exciting!
